Set Rentals Dimensions
Our extensive inventory of set rentals can be delivered or picked up. We can provide scenic services, or you can paint them yourselves. We know that backdrop rentals and set rentals in Los Angeles can be limited at times, so we try to keep our inventory current and are constantly adding new pieces that we save from finished projects. Below are the standard sizes available, ranging from 1 ’ x 8’ to 10 ‘ x 12’ and everything in between.

We often have flats that come back from projects that are good candidates for adding texture or surfaces to, or that are not a standard size. These are available at a discounted rate. Call and check availability.
FAQs on Scenery Rentals

Nearly all of our rental items can be painted or wallpapered. However, any wallpaper, graphics need to be removed prior to return or a fee will be assessed. If walls are painted multiple colors, they just need to come back a solid color.

Yes, we expect you to use the scenery as needed. Screws to hang things are part of standard use, as are mouse holes for wiring or lighting. Holes exceeding 1 1/2” in diameter are beyond what we allow. You can still cut these however a feel will be assessed based on how large and where that hole is placed.

Texture can not be added without prior authorization. We do have some stock available that is already textured, so call and ask. If you have to add texture due to creative changes check with us first, we may be able to offer suggestions to limit the cost of loss and damage that will be assessed.

We understand that sometimes things change and that clients may decide after the fact that they loved the set so much they want to keep it for future use, or just to have. Yes, rental items can be purchased; the cost is based on what it costs us to rebuild the unit for our inventory. That includes labor and materials.

Yes, rental rates are calculated weekly. We offer a 25% discount on items for both the 3rd and 4th week rental terms. The 5th week reverts to the original rate.

Yes, the minimum delivery fee is $350 for a 30-mile radius from the shop. This includes the cost of the truck, fuel, and the driver's time. This does not cover labor to unload or load the truck.

No, a formal account is not required to rent from us. We do require a COI naming Chris G TV Inc. as the additional insured loss payee and payment upon pick up or delivery. Terms for payment need to be negotiated in advance.
