Melanie Paiziz Jones, the Production Designer, brought us on to fabricate two sets for her “No Strings Attached Project.”

The first was a fully functional Puppet Theater, designed for talent to approach and interact with, while discreetly accommodating two puppeteers working multiple marionettes behind the scenes.

That world transitions into a 1:3 scale French Salon, where the rest of the film unfolds. This ornate environment was populated with replicas of iconic fashion designers, writers, and models. To bring it to life, we installed over 2,000 feet of molding—some custom-cut on our CNC—alongside sweeping arches, a faux marble fireplace, and tall windows crafted for both realism and camera accessibility.

Every surface was considered: hundreds of appliqués were hand-applied, layering in a richness of detail that fully transported viewers into Melanie’s vision.
