Production Designer Megan Fenton and Art Director Christine Brandt came to us in 2022 with a truly exciting challenge: build a fully immersive, 360-degree pill-shaped geodesic structure, complete with multiple interior rooms and distinct areas—all within the constraints of an indie film budget. The concept was ambitious: the entire story, starring Mark Duplass and Sterling K. Brown, would unfold entirely within this one set.

We dove in headfirst. Every detail, from the structure’s sweeping curves to the intimate interiors, had to feel functional, cinematic, and visually compelling. Tight budget? No problem—we embraced creative solutions that maximized impact while keeping costs manageable.

When the set was complete, it wasn’t just a set—it was a fully realized world, a playground for the actors, and a cinematic environment that helped bring Megan and Christine’s vision to life. The end result left us all proud, proving that even bold, unconventional designs can shine when ingenuity meets collaboration.
