Black Eye Peas Game Show

Studio build

Chris brought a dose of retro spectacle to the Black Eyed Peas tour, designing a full 1970s-inspired game show set for director Ben More. Conceived as playful interstitial video content, the set nodded to the band’s debut album while channeling the over-the-top charm of television’s golden age of game shows. Shot in Hollywood over a single whirlwind day, the production blended kitsch with authenticity—glossy wood paneling, oversized podiums, candy-colored backdrops, and all the campy details that defined the era.

With budget limitations in play, Chris leaned on ingenuity and resourcefulness, pulling nearly 90% of the elements from our scenic rental inventory. The result was a vibrant, tongue-in-cheek throwback that looked like it had been beamed straight from 1976, proving that a clever eye and sharp design can create maximum impact without a blockbuster budget.
