The team at We Are Royale brought Chris on to production design 3 spots for Final Fantasy XIV online. Chris and director Brien Holman found a lovely home that was able to be transformed for multiple spots, as well as a large fitness facility that hit most of the buttons required in the script. Chris and his team installed plugs and pony walls in the home for one of the spots and shuffled appliances for the other. The gym provided unique challenges since the facility was multistoried and over 70K sq feet. Chris designed a stand alone sauna set that was installed in the basketball court of the gym. Several flats were installed to hide the walls of mirrors that surrounded several areas we were filming in. The character elements were a combination of live action and cgi compositing, this lended a unique look to them while staying true to the game graphics.
