Writers Guild Awards:

Chris has now designed 8 awards shows for the Writers Guild West. These are sets from the previous 2 years. The show has taken place at the Beverly Hilton for the past 4 years which can be a challenging room to work in. The load in is extremely tight so elements need to come in with the intention of being assembled in the room. The stage being a polygon and only 16’ at it’s deepest point presents its own challenges. Chris designs these sets which are a multi camera live event (not for broadcast) to work not only for camera but mostly for the audience perspective.
